What would you do?

This is my holdup. A stand, a stand! My kingdom for a stand!!!

~ tank will be open-top (no canopy; light suspended from the ceiling

~ stand will be tall (35" to 40")

~ stand will have 3" to 4" of clearance between the floor and the stand bottom.

What would you build?

(If you're a trim-carpenter or cabinet-maker, please PM a reasonable estimate.)

90g display =

48" wide
25-1/4" tall (including trim)
18" deep (front to back)

desired stand height = 35" to 40" (includes 3" to 4" of clearance beneath the stand)

30g sump =
36" wide
17" tall (including trim)
12-1/2" deep

Tank is drilled in the corner and will have a durso, so that will need to be figured into the stand construction.

Tank will have 3-sided view.

My advice... build it tall... tall as you can. I would also make the base the aquarium sits on larger leaving a nice sized ledge if I had the space.
