About green hair algae big problem

Healthy reef tanks grow algae. So the fact that you are growing algae is actually not a bad sign. Unless you have a nasty nutrient issue where your algae growth is outstripping your grazers ability to eat is that is. Assuming that's not the case from what I'm seeing in your description... You just have to put algae eaters in place that will take care of it. I find tangs to be the best at it. Which ones do you have? If you have the appropriate grazers for hair algae and they're not eating it then stop feeding them nori and reduce feedings drastically... like around half of what you are or less. The grazers will get hungry and start eating it. Mine will even eat bryopsis and bubble algae now that they know its a food source. So I still have both pop up every now and then its an ez fix. I just skip a feeding or two and then its gone.
