hey,

I have a super skimmer that is working great but it has alot of micro bubbles is there any way i can fix that problem so i have no micro bubbles.
thanks

I just cut the overflow hose, removed the box, and put a filter sick on the output back in the day to combat the micro bubbles. I now run an ASM so don't have that problem.

Also, how are the baffles in your sump? Any kind of bubble trap? Is there alot of flow in the sump that doesn't give the micro bubbles time to disperse?

Sometimes it's not the skimmer, but the sump setup that is the issue.

i dont have a sump i use a eheim canaster filter. i really dont want micro bubbles that look so bad in the tank. also what is the filter stick and where do get one and how to instill it

how long have you had the skimmer? They all have to go through "break in" periods where they build up a slime coat and prevents the bubbles from sliding back into the tank. I have a super skimmer also, and it took about 2 days for the bubbles to go away. I don't use the bubble trap, but just a sponge from a sponge filter to help disperse and bubbles that might make it into the tank. I use mine as a hob.
