So last week end the wife and I purchased a rbta. So I understand he will move until he finds the perfect spot. Well he was opened up and looking good. But did not like the chosen spot. So he decided to move into the middle of my rock structure where yout can just see the top of his tinicles. My question is this. Should I leave him be in hopes he will come out on his own or should I move my rock and retrieve him and try to find another spot?

Im hoping he will need to feed on the light and come out on his own. The one thing that concerns me if I move him is he will become victim to a falling rock or become victim to one of the ph's.

Thanks for any and all replies.

Mike

Leave him alone he may 6 more times before he decides where he wants to be. Usually they will end up right up front where you want them unless you piss him off.

Thanks guys I will insure I wont touch him. I was about to call out the dogs when I couldn't find him this morning at 530. But when I broke the news to the boss she was extremely upset. She stated " I paid $86 for what, for him to hide in the rocks.lol.

I may have to place a deer camera around the tank so I catch her red handed attempting to get him out....

Im hoping to avoid that. But if for some reason it does I will need to sleep on someones couch for a few days. Lol

Leave him and be greatful it didn't move into a powerhead or overflow like the last 2 I had... the 3rd, I just took back to the store after 3 sleepless nights and overflow rescues.
