??? about return plumbing.

I have a 55 gallon rr that I am trying to fix up and I cannot figure out how I want to plumb my return. It is a aga tank where the overflow is 3/4 the way down the tank and it only has one locline return. I was debating on either doing another locline return on the oppisite side of the overflow, plumbing a few return lines up and over the back, or drill the back of the back of tank with a few returns. What do you think?

Where is the overflow located at in the middle or the corner

I'm wondering if you can 'T' the pipe that feeds the lockline, and add your second nozzle. Without a better picture and/or description, I'm not sure of the exact problem. I am in the Canton area and would be happy to come take a look if you like. Thx -Bill

Oh ok i had this exact same tank once i had a return on each side of the overflow i had a durso standpipe behind the drain and used flexible lines ran from lockline returns to a tee to a single line to the return bulkhead on the outside id the bulkhead from the sump to the tank used pvc

You only need one drilled hole for the train and one for the return if you need to split off to multiple returns it would make more since to tee off of that single return just keep in mind that by doing so its going to drop your flow rate by half

Well same rate of gph but will be seem slower since the flow is split into multiple returns

How about four 1/2 inch returns up and over the back and then just converting that 3/4 inch return that is inside the overflow into another durso?
