AC jr and power heads

What type of power heads can you use with an AC jr so you can switch on and off?

I use Koralia 4s. I get a knock as they start up. Will probably go with something else later.

Yes, stock Maxijets do work, but the mods you do to increase flow make the pump the same as a Koralia, and it will eventually fail.

My 4 un-modded mj1200s have been in service controlled by a Red Sea Wavemaster Pro for almost 2 years with no probs. (Well, the cord on one of them fried when there was a leak and *someone* had neglected the ol' drip loop.:bash2 I do, however, keep a replacement impeller in the drawer of my cabinet - just in case.:up:

the mods I am talking about are not the sureflow and the like kits. I am nore talking about cutting off the the output spout to increast the opening size. Also drilling holes around the input side to increase flow.

OK now I am confused. With the Koralia is the only problem going to be the propellors occasionally or do I even want to control my power heads with a AC jr.? They advertise it can be done.
