I was working on my tank earlier and a multi pieced branch of green acro broke away from a few different rocks it was fused to. The spots where it was fused still have polyps on them, albeit small..but fused to the LR. I was thinking to just move the main colony a bit to provide plenty of light to the spots that are fused to the LR and they would grow? What I've read is that resetting it on the same spots would fuse the coral back together...just looking at it more as an opportunity to turn one colony into several...any thoughts?
