Thanks Antonio and Lee. I try to automate things as much as possible, but every day I am home, I always try to visually inspect the equipment once just to make sure all is good. Doing that takes care of little things before they become big things. I found a very slow drip at one of my union fittings in the return plumbing the other day. At that point it was just a matter of retightening and lubing a couple o-rings, but it could have been worse if I hadn't seen it earlier.
Certain things you can't avoid, like a seam separating on a tank or the like, but not all watertight fittings stay watertight forever, hehehe!
