Advice!

 Welcome!! I will say that one of the fish that I had in my 29 gallon with 40 lbs of rock was a nice little Hippo Tang. He was around an 1" 1/2. I will also say that I was never lucky enough to get him to eat out of my hand or let me pick him up. I will also say that Grouper might know a bit about tangs. I will tell you a little secret, he can even get them to talk:lol2: he knows exactly when they are happy! No I just kid, but he knows his tangs and they are all very healthy beautiful fish:thumbs:. I think your doing just fine. Just take your time. Sounds like your LFS should have some good advice, and are nice people! There are allot of great people on here. You get a wide range of opinions. At first it will confuse you. In the end its sooo beneficial. Welcome to a great club! If you ever have ANY question feel free to PM me I am willing to help anyone wether I know the answer or wether we have to dig it up.

Good luck and happy reefing!

Where did you get the Tonga branch rock. I will pay goo money for that. I will be looking for rock over the next 6 months and really like Tonga or any other branching rock! The tank looks super! Keep that light cycle to around 8 hrs, this will help if you start getting any algae blooms. I was lucky on my 29 when I set it up, it just never had any major blooms!!

Yes I do love that rock, Matt at Star Aquatics gave me that from his personal home tank. I do have some coral like that from my dads old aquarium from a few years ago it is branchy like that, he baught years ago. If intersted i could post some pics of it. I am not going to use it, would be intrested in parting with it, also he gave me a large barnicle clump that is prety cool that I did not use. I will try to get some pics on after work tomorrow.

How much for the unused coral? Are you looking for anything that you may trade for?

The coral I am open to offers, I really do not know what it is worth. Just pm me with any offers, or trades.
