Does anyone run there AI's at 100%?

I mean, i don't b/c yes i have burned my corals. but if you can't run something at 100%, what's the point?

thats why they are dimmable, if you had a super tall tank you would have to run 100 percent. What size tank you got?

well, i'm not asking just for me in general. I don't see anyone using them 100%. i got a 50 gallon tank, so i understand why i don't need to run them full blast.

Is anyone on here using full blast?

I think its to make them more adaptable you know, like an mp40 sure put that in your 50 gallon but you'll have to turn it down, better than mp10 cranked up. Kinda the same thing Robb was talking about in his thread. I'm sure someone will chime in here plenty use em. I got a maxspect, it doesnt dim.

I am up to 70% maximum intensity right now. I just gauge what the coral looks like under them to determine if I need to go up or not. Seth is running his at like 90% I think. He is getting there.

On first glance it looks like a Star Wars character or something, but it is a real animal, a Black Crested Macaque.

there are people on RC who have them up to 100% on 24" tall tanks.
