Yep, I spoke to this guy about the AI's and he agreed that 2 over a 50 would do the trick :)
 
Here are the tank owner's settings for his AIs. Notice he runs his Sol Blues for 6 hours at 100% white, blue and royal blue with not much stepped up intensity, just on:

The lights are 10 inches from the water surface. From the water surface to the top of the substrate is approximately 25 inches. The tank is 30 inches high.

9:30- 0 0 0 ( 20 minute ramp down so lights are out at 9:50 PM)

What a beautiful setup. I wish I had the money to afford 10 AI modules !
 
that tank pays for itself im sure. I did not know you could grow acros on top of monti plates. There are many corals growing on top of the monti plates.
