Aiptasia Problem

well someone wish me luck while I try to catch the 6 line out of my tank! This should be fun ;)

he said earlier that he couldn't keep them for some reason (they kept dying on him, he thought the 6 line was the carnivore)

I've never tried a fish trap, (that's too easy)

I usually just tear everything out of the tank so they have no place to hide... :)

ok after reading a couple suggestions on here about aiptasia,
i went and bought 2 more pep shrimp, total of 4 in my 45.
ive had a few aip's pop up and couldnt get to them with aipX.
well after 3 days the aip is gone from what i can tell.
these guys went to work fast.
the thing is, i had 2 before and they couldnt care less about the aip's.
so i read above where its best if you have 1 per 5gal i think it was.
so i went and bought 2 more. not wanting to over due it i figured i would buy 2 a week until i reached the limit.
seems like the last two i bought did the trick.
i might buy 2 more just cause.

Those fish are known to nip at corals as well, beware!

A good size mystery wrasse is a different story. I was refering to a sixline

I don't know anything about Berghia but it could be worth a try.

personally i wouldnt use them. starving
to death would be a terrible way to die.

I just killled several aiptasia and about 50 Majanos with reef napalm three days ago. Not a single one has reappeard. I noticed a ton of majanos clustered on a single rock after I took down my 210 and reused the rock in my 300 gallon. the napalm kills the majanos on contact. almost 100% kill rate. It gets probably 80% of aiptasia the first time, and you need to retreat a few a second time. Best solution for aiptasia I have found.
