Algae Control in Frag tank

What do you keep in your frag tank to help control algae?

Lawnmower Blenny?
Small Tang?
Sea Hare?
Nothing (your Fuge does it's job right)?

Ever since I moved the lawnmower blenny to the display, my algae in the frag tank is a little too much for my taste. Before I put another one in there, I was wondering what everyone else is using.

I am trying not to put anything in there that I would ever have to feed. You feeding your frag tank or just letting them munch away? I have a 6 line in there now.

I feed VERY lightly

Personally I will have either a 6 line or yellow corris wrasses for pest control. And something for algea. That way I can just throw some pellets there.

If I remember correctly One of a member on here dose his frag tank with Vodka and doesn't even have a skimmer. His frags are amazing.

Yellow Tang and Lawnmower....always kept my algea issues down. Look at other reasons why you have such algea growth also...might be a bigger problem.:yes:

My frag tank is a 60g.

I recently set up a 30g chaeto tank and that ball is finally growing nicely.

Not too much algae in the display or anywhere else in the system and it's only growing slowly in the frag tank so just looking to see what others do to keep it at a minimum.

Seems like you can have a very clean system and still build up algae in places where no animals will pick at it, especially under 500W's of light.

I have had the best luck with a lawn mower blenny and possibly a small scopas. Also some blue leg hermits.
