algae eliminator

just saw this in my magazine claims to eliminate all algae, reef safe. all natural but very expensive . anybody ever heard of this ? here is a link.

From what I read it's only for fresh water not salt. I might have missed it.

It's saltwater usable. Basically, it's a bacteria/enzyme/nutrient supplement (you would dose it) that processes fish waste and other sources of phosphorous and algae nutrients before the algae can get it. A competing organism that's lower on the food chain than algae. The common name is a "biodigester".

Might drive your skimmer insane, though.
