Algae Pictures.

I would think a couple of days with no lights wouldn't kill anything, but what do I know. I think reducing light to 4-6 hours a day is a better solution, though. Plus the water changes of course.
 
Yup, nail on the head! Try and cut it back a few hours before going lights out altogether.. WC help everything..

You can always do what I did, hang it on the wall over the washing machine.. If you can even scrape the money together, it is well worth the small investment,saves a lot of heartache later on.
 
I bought the RO I have from a member. He said it was new...maybe a couple months use. Can I have my RO water tested at the LFS?

What exactly should I be looking for in a test?
