I am still trying to identify the alien life forms in my tank. My daughter made a drawing (copy and paste the link above into your URL), hope that helps. Taking pictures is not possible. They glide on the glass and on the rocks and don't grow larger than 1/8 to 1/4". My new Carpenter Flasher wrasse sems to like nibbling them off the glass.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dana

I love that pic on the page with the media bag full of flatworms....Jeez talk about an infestation

Derek,
thanks for the link. I did ask before, but did not believe they were really planaria until I saw the picture on the website. They looked too much like jellies. I will try to get rid of them as best I can.
Take care,
Dana

I think the clear ones are the less invasive.

Dont quote me though.

You probably dont need to get rid of them. They are relatively harmless I believe.

Aren't the clear ones pretty harmless? They popped up in my mantis tank so I looked them up.

I had some a few years back in some in one of my tank's. Never got out of hand, and never saw them except on the glass. Someone must have ate them or what few I had died off.

Thanks, guys, for your input. I have not been seeing them lately, I guess they got chewed up by my wrasse. Between him and my Springer's dottyback that likes to eat bristle worms, I guess I'm pretty well covered. They looked kinda cute though.
