ok.. so i'm testing my new Hanna Checker ALK checker , but i'm confused as to how to read the results.
I want 8-10 alk reading,
the conversion in the instructions is
1ppm CaCo3 = 0.02 meq/L
= 0.56 dkh..
So...
les say I get a reading of 100 (just to make it easy) and I'm going for dkh.
I will multiply 10 x .56 to get 5.6 dkh?
Doesn't make sense any other way to me...
pls advise and ask any questions to clear this up.
Thanks.

Edit: OR.. les say i get another reading of 100....
do i divide by 10.0 to get a dkh of 10? ... why do easy conversions confuse me so much.... I'm a musician ! not a 3rd grader!
Edit: ok DUH
the conversion is .056
SO i'll multiply say ... 100 x .056 and get the correct reading in DKH
