all-glass aquariums....tempered?

are ALL-GLASS AQUARIUMS usually tempered on the sides? Im looking to drill the tank.

I think they are just tempered on the bottom. they should have info on their web site

There will usually be a sticker telling you where you can't drill.

This varies from tank to tank and age of the tank. 55s for example, are all tempered. Your best bet is to email or call them.

alright so on the web site it said many of their aquariums are made with tempered glass on the bottom.

BUT i already know drilling in the bottom would be a big mistake so would you say it is alright to drill the sides.

I guess calling them would just make me a little bit less worried...
