Hey guys! A new member here but have been been reefing since elementary school, (in college now). Finally got the tank of my dreams, (for what I can afford) and wanted to put the build on here.

Tank: Waterbox 15g
Light: AI Prime HD
Rock: Dry Rock
Wavemaker: Jebao RW-4
Heater: Hydor Theo 50w
DIY Auto top off, only spent $15
Kalkwasser for dosing
Biocube nano protein skimmer
Cycle: Microbacter7
Filter sock with filter floss inside
Chemipure Blue
Marine Pure gems

Can't wait to get this thing cycled and going!

Awesome setup! I love the Waterbox tanks. Great to have you here. Maybe try cycling the tank without the filter floss. It helps the bacteria flow throughout the tank and onto the bio balls. Any ideas on what youll put in there?

So the bio balls were actually from another established tank so they have plenty of bacteria. As far as livestock, I've had a clownish for around 3 years and he's finally getting a bigger tank. Plan to add a RBTA as he loves those and then coral around that

1 1/2 Month update!

took about 1 1/2 weeks to cycle and then added my clownfish and my couple corals. After that, I went into a pretty bad bacteria bloom that has been going on for around 3 1/2 weeks and looks like I might be coming out of it.

Changes:
-Started using BRS 2-part instead of kalk
-Upgraded to Red Sea test kit, the API kit was not cutting it

New:
-I'm looking to add a RBTA soon as everything is becoming stable. I know people say not this early but I've done it before and want to do it before I add my other corals. Plus my clown needs one because he's loved them so much in the past.
-if you've got one you're selling, let me know!

Loving the tank so far!

Very nice tank, love your rock scapes!
Its understandably annoying when Nem’s move around & sting other corals. But, I’ve found that when you “cherry pick” the rock (their home) with a deep smooth hole for its foot, put in good light & flow, they’ll stay put.
Also, I’d remove my Nem to “split/cut” and my clowns would immediately host in my Hammer, Frogspawn even my Wellsi and be very happy.

When Nem was healed in 7-10 days and went back in DT, they’d go straight back to it.
Just a thought, many other LPS will do fine and survive easier in newer tanks:)

Everything is coming together nicely! Looks great..I second the rock work! Love it!

That's a nice looking setup. I cant wait to see how it evolves.
