This was part of the set-up I recently purchased. Wanted to see if anyone can tell me specifically what kind it is.

BTW, after about a week my clown has finally gone back to hosting it. Unfortunately his mate did not make it through the move

Sorry for the quality of the pics. They are from my phone.

It's a bleached Entemacea quadricolor (bubble tip anemone).

It's also the natural host for the Maroon clown.

I agree with Jenn.

Please feed it some small pieces of mysis shrimp and/or krill twice a week and hopefully with time it will regain its color.

Thanks everyone.

I just got the tank fully set-up again. I have fed him a couple of times, but prior to that he was living in a plastic tote with the fish, then it was a few days in the tank before the light system was up and running. So he has not had an easy life the last few weeks.

I'll try to nurse him back to health.

One question around feeding though. What is the proper amount/process? I have a 'squirt feeder' with the poker stick on the end. Should I be squirt feeding or just kabob some pieces on the poker and lay it on his tentacles?

I'd just gently squirt some mysis onto its tentacles or place a piece of krill on its tentacles using tongs.
