How do you guys safely remove anemome from it's rock? I've heard direct powerhead. Any other methods out there?

I just chip out part of the rock under the foot. Just be careful not to damage the foot.I also use a plastic spoon to dig under the foot .It helps to release it with out hurting it.Just go slow and keep the rock under water.

This is the best way to do it. A little more time consuming but for sure will work and will not harm the foot. I have removed them by just using my fingers and slowly removing the foot from the rock. Never thought to use a plastic spoon though.

I totally agree with these two response, slow and careful is the key. It really depends on the type of rock it is attached to. If it is very porous and the foot is deep in a hole, try to get a thin screwdriver into an adjacent hole and widen it out so you can get under the foot and break out the rock the foot is attached to. If the rock is smooth or it is attached to glass then you may be able to gently remove it with your fingers, while wearing a glove.

the way I have found is to take the rock and flip it over in the water and it tends to make them start "running" when they are moving they have don't seem to hold on as well and you can work a fingernail or something under them and just SLOWLY work them off. this has worked for me 5 times. good luck!

Go at it 2am in the morning or whenever it's deflated and shrunk gently pull it up by it's foot best you can if that doesn't work then risk chipping away like above posts.
