About a week ago I found my gbta stuck to an intake and I put him in a basket for recovery, he's been making a full recovery but he looks like he's trying to split, his middle is skinny and his outsides are in two big circles, I will post pictures tomorrow when I have more time. I have red that they split when they are stressed ( not sure how reliable the source is) please feel free to correct me if I am wrong as I have nothing wrong with constructive criticism , I have to learn somehow

Edit:

Possible. Stress will sometimes do it and this is certainly a stressful event. "Natural" splitting will usually involve finding a rock to stretch over and splitting at the mouth. Very good chance that it will survive at any rate.

Sweet so I just accadently fragged it lol now if I could only do that with everything else in my tank. And this will work out great because it's actually my brothers but his clown jumped out after he got the gbta so I jacked it from his tank and put it in mine because I have a pair of black clowns. So now I can give him the parent back and I will have my own!
