I'm interested to see what Angelfish ya'll keep that you do not have much trouble with them nipping on SPS, LPS, clams, etc... Pictures??

Had a dwarf flame in the past with no issues and currently have a morish idol but he nips at lps's, no zoas tho...

I know alot of members keep the coral beauty with no problems as well

My flame doesn't nip, but if you're talking about large angels, then the only safe bet is the Genicanthus group.

Landon you could go with zebra angel fish, wantanabei angels, bellus angels, and swallow tail angels there are a few more but all of these angels are reef safe and beautiful. You can see picts at liveaquaria.com or bluezooaquatics.com they will be under large angels most times but they are fairly small angels actually.

I have a potters and a french angel in with my red blastomussa merletti and no problems, also acros and LPS. I have a multi colored angel in with a pink w/green mouth blasto, red/green candy cane, 2 open brains, LPS and acros. I feed 2x a day, this may make the difference! :D Holley

Wow. The multicolor angel is the on i really want but that is the first time i've heard one being reef "okay"... Like you said, I bet it's because to the feeding 2x a day! That's great!

I have a dwarf that is a wonderful reef inhabitant. Anyone that's had one, I'm sure, would say the same. Keeps any algae pruned daily.

I'm about to try my new Potter's and see. Thai said it had behaved in his tank, we shall see. It's such a beautiful fish, I will give it a tank of it's own if it nibbles.

I have a yellow/ false lemonpeel angel that doesn't nip at any corals in my mixed lps/sps reef... it eats mostly algae.

I did not have any problem with my Flame Angel when he was in my tank. I recently tried a Koran Angel who is a terror. He nipped at everything including corals, fish and inverts. He is now in a fish only tank by himself. I think he prefers it that way.
