The canopy is now in progress and I'm at a crossroad. I had planned on using lighting I already had as listed and pictured below.
1x250 MH + 64 PC Actinic Pendant
2x48w T5HO
2x36w T5HO
482 Watts Total
However....I fear the T5's won't get good penetration at 24" and I'm considering scrapping the entire setup and going to a single large Lumenarc reflector and 400w MH with some actinic supplementation.
Would I be better off keeping my current design or moving on to the 400w Lumenarc? This tank will be primarily SPS and I'd love to have adequate lighting for it at various levels.....not just the top portions of my rock.
