ANOTHER apex question

i found a used apex that looks pretty good..

anything i should be concerned with a new one?

the brain is also black as opposed to the new ones that are white

Had my "Black" Apex for several years... never a problem.

I think most are ok to buy used. I have one of the old ones with the black label and it was used when I got it. I also bought a used unit recently and sold it to a friend and he had to replace the head unit? I think most people are successful with used units but you never know?...

what will i need to do to make it work wirelessly ... like with ipad app and such? just network cable it into my home wireless router?

Network cable works best... But you can also use a gaming wireless adaptor. I started wireless then went with wired.

I bought my components all used, Apex Lite, EB8, breakout box and VDM. Haven't had a single issue, knock on wood.

You can either hardware if its close enough or the gaming adaptor if you're not able to. I had mind hard wired for about a yeah then I picked up than adaptor about two months ago and it's been working great. Either way you will need to setup port forwarding on your router to access it from off your wireless network.

If you haven't gone to the Neptune's website and downloaded the "Unofficial Guide" do so. It's one of the best resources for the apex.
