IE can the a tank plumbed into the system but otherwise isolated keep the pests isolated?

Its her own fault for not researching enough to provide a proper home for her animal with which she is responsible in caring for. Just like Lee said pumps, power heads and skimmers all kill pods. Also, it is very difficult to dose enough pods to keep a mandarin alive. You would have to add hundreds of pods per day since all these fish do is comb the tank for pods all day. If Kelsey/Roxanne had read my full post and not just quoted my last portion then she would know she needed to put the UV before the fug so that the fug puts pods into the which is months old tank and has an established pod population. Im bored-to-death with this and feel as though your just trying to find reasons to nit pick what I am saying. I am here to help hobbyists and not defend your hypothetical scenarios.

I answered every single question you asked previously and anyone who reads over you comments, its quite clear you are just trying to argue.

theyd have to go far out of their way to get into the water column and sucked into the low flow of a UV loop. in my case, they have to get to the sump first, then into the UV loop... but yeah,
I suspect your pod population was not entirely wiped out by the addition of UV. I cant prove it of course, but based on my own experience and the research I did before I decided to use UV, Id say that what you describe, if not incorrect, is absolutely the extreme rare case. perhaps the pod population was effected by something else, perhaps you just didnt look for them in the same way, somedays I see them swarming in my fuge, other days... I dont... they are still there of course since they always come back, but I guess somedays they are just... somewhere else that I cant see.
