yeah i asked rit he didnt know wo seing them im gonna take a polip to him and let him start to grow them out. they seem to be super rare.

what do you guys think they are worth? theyre not for sale right now bf you ask

I've got two colonies, one that is supposedly "atomic sunrise" and one from AndyMan that he called "oxides". They are identical.

Truthfully, rare zoas are like LE SPS... if you don't know where they originated (or have "the lineage") then just call them really pretty zoas. I think all of the names getting coined for zoas is getting out of hand. You can find the same zoas getting sold under many different names. If you are going to grow them out and sell them, then without the lineage a lot of people consider them to be "lookalikes".
But, that's a few dozen threads all by itself. :)

Well said, Barry. Seems the "designer" names can also come with "designer" prices.

A zoanthid is a zoanthid.

They are pretty though ;)

Yep, it's getting carried away all right. I have actually heard discussions where a guy has a zoa that nobody can find the "name" for, and so he then delcares it "Bob's nuclear atomic whatevers". The way zoas change under different lighting, it'll end up being like people names. I'm going to frag some of my LE Clyde zoas. Anybody got any Suzannes to trade?

I had a conversation about designer names with one of my suppliers. I did ask him for colorful zoas. (This was a while back...)

I got some greenish-yellow ones, and the line item on the invoice said, "Monkey Puke Zoas".

I guess I know what he thinks of designer names too ;)
