Currently I have 3 Bartletts anthias. Was thinking about adding another 3 females or possibly a trip of a different species.

The question us will my current ones accept the new ones with wacking them?
Its a 220 gallon tank.

You should be alright but i have heard that Bartletts are the more aggressive out of the anthias so i would expect a little agression in the beginning.

Bartletts will probably harass any other Anthias. I think a 220 would be large enough for the established ones to accept additions. I think you should add as many as you can this time though and make it your last addition. A larger group of new arrivals makes it harder for the established ones to single new ones out. So, whatever end number you're shooting for I would add them now.
If you did decide to chance other Anthias, Cayberryi might be a good option. They will often school with other Anthias and not real aggressive.

Adding them at night with the lights out sometimes helps as well. Just monitor them when the lights come on. I had some lyertail anthias that would harrass new anthias of other species to death. They even killed some FW mollies acclimated to SW...

I will be trying this tomorrow. I just ordered 4 females to go with my 1male and 1female I have in my 240 gallon tank. I also have another male in my frag tank that may make the trip to the DT.

So I will have 2 males and 5 females.
