Any info on heniochus butterfly fish.

I just got this fish for my birthday. Also at the some time got a clam. I just read some where that they eat clams. But the guy at the store said they would be fine together. Does anyone know more info. Please help dont want to lose either one.

It depends on what species of Heniochus it is. H. dipheutes is safe, while H. acuminatus is generally not. They both look really the same to untrained eyes, to. Post a pic, we'll get you straight.

that is a dipheutes so you should be safe.
