About to order a new top off and just seeing what every one is using now days.
I've had the jbj ato and one from auto top off.com that failed me once and almost flooded. Just seeing what you guys are using.
Tunze here, both nano and regular version. Both have served me well, without a single problem. I lean towards the nano being the better buy, depending on your evaporation rates.

Both of these are pretty tempting
Just be sure that with any optical setup, you clean the sensor periodically. Calcium buildup can cause problems. The Coralvue one looks like the easiest to maintain.
I just got the hydor smart level it has no moving parts reducing chance of failure just make sure you use a small pump because it has a min run time of like 25 seconds I believe but other than that it keeps the water spot on with minimal fluctuations
I had a float get stuck on mine. Thank god I had 100 gallon sump at the time. This time I'm only running a 30 gallon sump so just want to make sure no floods.
I'll be going with the Auto Aqua Smart ATO. It remembers the average of your last 3 topoffs and will stop if the pump runs 3 times longer than normal. It also remembers the average of the last 3 times between topoffs and will sound an audible alert if it goes more than 3 times that length between topoffs.
