You might see some bleaching on montiporas and you might see some sluggish behavior or death with turbo snails. This from my experience when I treated for bryopsis with Tech M a couple years ago at mag level 1800.
Im sitting at 1700 now (down from 1800 yesterday) after a WC. No ill effects currently. I switched salts but kept my mag dosing regiment the same.....:doh:
