A buddy of mine is breaking down his display tank, and is offering me his pair of Harlequin shrimp for free. I've read about people would put a starfish in a tupperware container and have holes low enough on the container so the shrimp can have access to the starfish, but the starfish wouldn't be able to get out. Just looking for a little feedback since I have always been fascinated by these beautiful creatures.

Au01st would probally die for a pair. He has a pretty bad astern(sp?) invasion.

Totally miss read that. If your intested in keeping it easyest way to keep them is to toss a frozen leg of a choclate chip star in every 2 weeks I think.

I'd LOVE them too - my 90 is getting invaded...

PM me a price if you like...

They do good in reefs they will keep your take rid of pest. I need a pair as well it get rid of my astern problerm lol

My pair is amazing great idea on the frozen leg I will have to try that as a treat for them

Wonderful! I can cross off one item on my 'want in display' list. Up next a moorish idol eating frozen foods!

One thing that I've heard can be done is,

Have a couple stars (CC and things like that) in the sump, pop off a leg every so often and put it in the tank for them, next time you feed swap to the other one to give the first time to heal.

Hmmmm.... another great idea. Anybody ever tell you, that you should be a leader of a fish club with all the sound advice you give?

Yeah, you don't want those guys, I'll take them if I have to...

If something happens and I am not able to, you're more than welcome to have them!
