Anybody own strawberry shortcake?

I have a 1'' frag that doesnt seem to grow too fast. In fact it is the slowest grower in my tank. Any Ideas on its growth rate/pattern?

Slow as molasseses. It seems to encrust out. So I am assuming encrust out and then sprout up. Mine has definitely colored up and grown, but extremely slow. It seems like even the incredible hulk and purple monster grow faster (both slow growers).

Yeah Mine has a nice green base and i noticed some encrusting on the base but, I havent noticed any other growth in the last month....

Strawberry Shortcake is like Pink Lemonade. It is an encruster, then a sprouter, like Corigan said. Mine has followed this pattern. It is just starting to shoot up new branches.

My Pink lemonade seems to grow at 10x's the speed of the strawberry shortcake, and they are right next to each other. However the pink lemonade is a huge colony while the shortcake is a 2" frag and a fully encrusted 2" of disc.

Pretty piece, I really like the colors on the shortcake.

I have 2 SS pieces and I agree on the encrusting part first.
