Anybody use pc lighting

Any body use pc lighting and having good luck growing corals.

What kind of coral do you have and where is it placed in your tank

I would be surprised if anyone was, bulbs are crazy expensive and not very strong, the minimum everyone used is t5ho or metalhalide with a pc supplement (outdated)

I have one on my 10g nano cause i got the whole fixture for $50. I have a zoa colony that is doing well but growth is slow, they are 5 inches under light. I also have star polyps and they are growing at the bottom of tank (10 inches). I have a few shrooms which seem quite happy at the bottom. My intention is to build a LED system to fit in the case after the next bulb change. It is not ideal but it is working, and much lower algae growth than my T5 main display.

When I had my 29G Biocube I grew Zoas and Palys well. They were placed everywhere in the tank. I also dosed Seachem Fuel and that helped as well.
