ok , I need a new Skimmer motor block / shaft and pinwheel for my old SWC-230 skimmer. The old pump is the Askoll Powerjet 1500 /aka maxflo 1500 100W 120vac . I took it apart and cleaned it and it still start then stops asap. Anyone know of a replacement for this pump. I have a 310 gallon volume system .

anyone know what the replacement skimmer pump/motor is?? Thanks

Have any pictures? Specifically of how the pump goes to the skimmer body?

I don't know if this would work for your skimmer or not, but have you looked to see if something like this might fit. There are two different sizes

yes this looks like the one , but mine has 3 bolt holes one at the top and one on each side on the bottom, I don't see any bolt holes n this one to mount into my housing??? I know Laguna took the place of the Askoll but this one cannot see any holes to mount?

the shaft and pinwheel look in great shape, so I figure my block is going bad, I cleaned it up as much as possible and it runs for a little while then stops http://atlantareefclub.org/boards/data/uploads/attachments/1064273=65562-DSC_5131.JPG">[IMG]http://atlantareefclub.org/boards/data/uploads/attachments/1064273=65562-DSC_5131.JPG" class="gc-images" title="DSC_5131.JPG" style="max-width:400px" /></a>
