Anyone in the Middle Georgia/Macon/Warner Robins area?

I have a few questions about live rock, local places for fish, etc.

Two local places in macon, macon pets on northside dr. and noahs ark on hartley bridge rd. Although theyre not the greatest IMO. If you want to drive a little Blue Planet is in mcdonough its the closest sponsor store and has much more variety "on hand" and better pricing usually.Although any of the macon stores can order anything you want usually.

Edit: If your ever near milledgeville, petopia has saltwater stuff but also a small supply.

I've been to both the local places and it's the same stuff...different day. Their live rock isn't the greatest. I'm on the hunt for some "established" live rock. I may have to drive up to Mcdonough. Just started up a new tank 3 weeks ago with live sand and live rock, but the rock isn't very "colorful".

Members on here also sell rock from time to time and we do have members in the macon area so keep an eye out there.Dont worry about the colorful part it will grow in time.

I'm here in Macon as well and blue planet is my recommendation as well

Im in Macon too and if you go to Macon Pets on Thursdays, they get shipments in and you can pick from what you want without it leaving the bags. As far as the colorful rock goes, that will come in time. If you need established rock now, then my suggestion would be to post it in the WTB forum and someone will surely have what you are looking for. I had some extra live rock that I would have gladly sold you but I just nuked it yesterday so it isn't so "live" anymore.

Better hurry at Macon Pets...if you get there on Friday around 5:00 their new stock is pretty well picked over! Great people there!

When I was in search of rock I had to drive up to Atlanta to a sponsor. Plus I got a killer deal from a member on a portion of my rock.
