Firstly, that a title and a half for a thread name I guess. I'm trying to find a well known trusted person I could drop a line to in an emergency. I'm heading out of the country in June and if some alarms are tripped I would need someone that could drop in and fix whatever might be going on either firing up a generator, turning off RODI, resetting the hydros system. It'll just be catastrophic stuff not looking for a daily sitter. A bit paranoid after coming home to mostly dead tank last trip overseas.

Unfortunately I'm a solid 45m+ away from the eastern edges of Cumming without traffic... much less the side west of 400. I know we've got more than a few other folks out in that area, though.

A couple people reached out. Hopefully I don't have to bother them though.

I inquired if anyone was near Cumming in my "new member" post several months ago and did not get any replies for similar reasons, Also, interested to get to know local neighbor reefers/make new friends. I am in a neighborhood on south side of Sawnee Mtn near the First Baptist Church. Feel free to reach out.

I have been trying to propose some sort of regional, casual meetups for members to get a chance to know each other, in person, without having a big, formal to-do around it that costs the club money, but didn't really get many bites.

I know there's quite a lot of us in the Forsyth/Gwinnett/Hall county area, if we could actually organize a place/date.

I’m probably about 12 minutes away from you. Nice now because there’s not much up here !!!
I have my Aquarium cabinet shop in Roswell if your ever down that way.

I would love to but it is nearly impossible for me to find time to do anything "optional". I've been trying to install hood pins on a project car so I can drive it to the body shop for 2 months, and have 9 quarts of oil sitting on top of that car to do an oil change on the viper for about that long. Two kids, and sports winds up being 7 days a week along with running a small business.

@TTTony I appreciate you reaching out, I didnt know you did cabinets, that is good to know if i can convince the wife to do a 6 foot tank at some point.
