Anyone try the twin arc MH bulbs?

They look interesting to say the least. I'd like to see a 10k/20k in action.
 
These have been out for 2-3 years, but I don't think they have really caught on. At least, I have not seen them discussed much.

I would want to make sure I liked their presentation, like I can't stand XM 20Ks, but I like Radium 20Ks.

I wonder what the benefit of that bulb is then... is it supposed to prolong the life of the bulb?
 
I just did a brief skim on RC mostly. So basically the bulbs have a longer lifespan because it is like two bulbs in one. I haven't seen a exact number of time it lasts but what I did see is longer than a year less than two..

Also you can use the 10/20 as a dawn dusk. Like 20k from 9-12 10k from 1205-300 and then 20k from 305-6. Neat I guess.

That is the only advantage I seen but then you stand a chance of shorting the life of them due to the multiple on an off firing. The same could be accomplished with a relay
