anyone using dolomite in there ca reactor

was wondering if anyone else is running dolomite in there calcium reactors, and if so how is it working for you

Yes, my mag seems to be more stable. The down side is that it requires a lower pH to "melt" than your CR media. I just realized this weekend that my media was depleted and all was left was the dolomite.

I wonder if it would make sence to use a seperat reactor for the dolomite

Good question. I have always thought of running that in my Ca reactor.

I run it. Zeomag is supposed to work at or below 6.5ph. Course that is from the manu and not a scientiffic number I am sure.
