Apex EB8 Help

Hey guys.

One of my EB8's has a yellow light and does not seem to be powering anything plugged into it. The other EB8 has a green light and is working perfectly.

I have no idea how or when this happened and its not controlling anything too crucial other than one of my lights.

Any ideas?

I tried resetting the Apex and I also tried the old unplug, replug trick....didnt work.

When you removed power did you remove it from all the components or just the EB8 that isn't working? What is the status screen telling you about the modules? In the Apex Module Screen, what does the Module List look like?

Hey Guys,

Sorry for not replying back t this thread. I had emailed Curt from Apex directly about this issue as well.

I misspoke when I said that it wasnt supplying power. I realized later that it was just not to the right outlets or at the right times. So basically, the Eb8 just wasn't communicating with the Apex.

Sure enough, after some hours of figuring how the hell to get my Apex online outside my network and the figuring how the hell to do port forwarding on a crappy 2wire Att router/modem, Curt was able to access the EB8 and troubleshoot it.

Not sure what he did but alls I know is that the status light is now green and everything is working appropriately.

yeah, never dealt with DA but I really gotta hand it to the guys at Neptune....even though they only offer email based support their response times are ridiculously fast.

for every story where DA drops the ball, you'll find 50 where Neptune SYS goes above and beyond..


it's a shame...
