Thinking of getting the PM2 module for my Full Apex. I somewhat have a need for another temp probe (would like to have one for the QT for piece of mind), and would really like to try out the conductivity probe. I have just read that a lot of people have had issues with them. Any thoughts? Is it a waste of money, and should I just get a temp controller and call it a day?

Waste of money IMO. Ran one in the past, it never seemed to be accurate. I would opt for a temp controller if it were my money. They are incredibly expensive to be so inaccurate.

I've had my full Apex up and running for a year + now. I've got the temp, PH and Salinity probes.
Just about two weeks ago, I noticed that the readings were a little odd. So I pulled them all, gave them a vinegar swirly and put them back in.

Perfect readings once again.

While looking at the manual for cleaning instructions, it seems that I should have been cleaning them a little more often than once a year. Oh well. They were doing what they were designed to do for over a year without my dorking with them at all.

If I have the chance, I'd get them again and put them in my frag tank.
