Not good Jim. I have lot's of experience on this subject. In fact I lost 4 EB8's and a head unit 8 months ago. First of all how many EB8's do you have? Whats the light status on your EB8's and Head Unit? Is it green or flashing amber. If you have more then one EB8 then disconnect the Aqua Bus cable from the bad unit asap, if there in serials and the first ones bad, you'll lose the power to the Apex head unit until you reconnect the aquabus cable of the other eb8 back into the head unit
Your EB8's powers your head unit, if one goes bad it will fail over to the second EB8. Hopefully the eb8 led is green and you only smoked a poweroutlet.
