No!
You can do a number of things one of which is take it out and let dry...... Since you already took this action you basically have to follow through with it. Putting it back now could cause a Ammonia spike from die off on the rock.
Leave the rock outside for a few days, until dry and all living dead. You will know it is when it one no longer smells like death and two the rock is white. Before putting back in your tank make sure you give it a good wash off, multiple times. This will clear the rock of any debris, dead still on their. I typically do this a couple times during the drying. Once you've completely killed everything and cleaned it, it is ok to be put directly in the tank.
