Aqua 40 UV leak- help

Other than that I'm not sure it really does a whole lot and who knows if that's even the reason for the NA.

Nice to know!
I've got a 40 on a 75 gallon but haven't got plumbing working its best!

I need to go back through mojo's thread and see what was said there...I don't remember it at all.

Just as with reef lighting, there are huge differences in the uv lamp itself. You also have different types: t5, t6, halide; low pressure, medium pressure, high pressure, amalgam... knowing exactly what is being used and the power it consumes will tell you a LOT.

So prove it to me

Bring yours over to me, let's trade for awhile.
I've got to see it to believe it.

I've got plumbing questions but I'm going to start a new thread. This ones solved and off topic already :)

Anytime ;)

First you have to dump that pump of yours!

Daymann NO joke!

I've got the fan running pulling the heat out of the canopy (thank you and Marlin) but with the additional Maxijet 2500 in the sump (Aqua 40) my temps hit 82 today. It took 8 frozen water bottles and 3 hours to gradually bring it back down to 80!
Crap I'm going to post a WTB right now!!!

I called the CS number that was easy to find on their website.
Made 1 selection for CS rep
Got a real person who answered my questions and resolved the current leak.
It's running now and not leaking.
A new washer and nut are being shipped to me.
No complaints at all!
Life is good :)

Now if I could just get my COMCAST issues resolved and the iPhone 6 ordered I'd be all set.

Great to hear! I appreciate you taking the time to update us!

Also, as requested, the link to the comparison I was talking about, and another to the specs:
