I bought two Aqua Medic SP-3000 pumps intending to use them to dose alk on my two systems. However, after finally opening them to begin the setup I read that they pump at a rate of 50ml/min which I think will be too fast for what I'm doing. Does anyone else use these for dosing small amounts? Can I water down the alk, I use BRS soda ash? I want to dose just 50ml spread over the whole night for one of the systems and 75 to 100ml for the other.

How far do you think I could take it? Right now I use BRS Recipe One soda ash- sodium carbonate at 2cups/gal. Could I mix it at 1cup/5gal? Then 500ml would be equivalent to 50ml and I could spread it out to ten 1min intervals.

One system is controlled with a Reefkeeper II and other a Neptune Apex.

Yes, measure how much it puts out in 1 minute and set the timer accordingly. I have the same thing except it has a built in timer.

there is no need to water it down.

I have ALK set at 22 four times a day.

The calcium is at 26 four times a day as they are not exactly the same due to variations such as length of tube, height of tube, and within the unit itself.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Alk set at 22 four times a day"?

The one you reference is half the speed so it would be a little better. I want to dose 50ml and my pump does that in 1 minute which is way too fast. I'm not sure my controllers can turn a pump off and on in 1 or even 10 second increments.

above is the website, and attached are the instructions

I program the cycle time to be 6 hours per pump.

I program the "on Time" for 22 seconds and 26 seconds or 000022 and 000026.
