Anyone having trouble reaching Aquacave. They don't respond to my e-mails and now when I call their phone number for the past two days I get a recording that the call can't be completed at this time. Trying to check on my backorder of Vortechs. hmmm?

They get their products you, but I have stopped buying from them because their Customer Service in the last year has deteriorated to a terrible standard. They never return telephone calls, and are very condescending if you do have a product issue and are even able to get them on the telephone.

I had a $4500 product purchase history with them, and stopped being their customer last year because I can get treated better by other online Vendors. If you have not had any product issues, then you may not have noticed this, but if something arrives to you broken or is not what you ordered, then watch out.

I've purchased from them before without any problems. Even this order which was split between the backorder and a set of Led lights went ok until I couldn't reach them. Just wondered if anyone knew of a communication problem beyond their control (ie: weather)? Don't know where they're located.

Don't look for an issue beyond their control....they just don't return phone calls.

i've spent over $5000 and have never had an issue...btw-they are outside of Chicago. I've always deal with a guy named Enrique and he's been great for me.

They actualy called me a couple of days ago, so I know that they are up and running. I bought 2 250 watt ballasts that where not in stock and they called to ask if I wanted a differnt brand.

I'm glad to hear that you've had recent contact with them. It almost sounds as if the phone systems are not working. The call never goes through but instead I get a phone company message that my call cannot be completed at this time. Even though my order is backordered I recieved a 10% discount during the 4th of July weekend sale on a couple of Vortechs so I'm really hoping things straighten out.

I've never had a problem getting in touch with them. If you still can't call them try posting in their sponsor forum on RC.

Why buy locally for more when you can spend less and get the same thing?

I hate the buy local argument so much. Why give people a hard time about where they buy there stuff from?

Wasn't giving anyone a hard time. Just asking a simple question. And I just thought it would be cool to give the business to local companies and possibly sponsors of the ARC, which in turn helps you.

I do when LFS can give me a competative price but Aquacave had a 10% discount which saved me about $175 between the Vortechs and the Current led's plus free shipping and no tax. $175 buys me some nice fish at a LFS.

The mystery has been solved. Aquacave just posted on RC that a power outage has put them out of business until it's fixed on Wed. No phone or data lines till then.

I ordered from aqua cave with the 10% discount and free shipping on the 8th and got it yesterday...However, I did call them and they never call me back.
