aquarium lighting need help

ok so i can get a mh 250w used from badboy for 100

if i get the 1 from badboy i will have some moeny to spend on corals and lr if i get the other i will have to wait. anyone help?

I would go with the MH, but how big is your tank. Im not sure one one would be enough for a 4' tank. Also, does it have a bulb and how old is it? Those bulbs are $65 and up.

Price at aquacave doesn't include bulbs, fixture only, go with badboys deal, sounds great!

Yep, go with badboys deal, you can always get a second one later and then you will have some really nice lighting. And at $100, thats a steal!

What are you going to install the MH in? If you have a standard canopy for your 55, you will have to modify it to put the 250w in...like raise it at least 6 inches.

i will? i dont think i wil it is 5 inches from my waterlevel.
