I'm starting a new build! This is probably premature; however, I want to document the entire process to look back on. I'm not planning to get the actually tank until March 2020, seven months from now; so there is not going to be much happening between now and then. My plan is to buy an Innovative Marine 75 EXT. In the meantime, I have revamped my water filtration station and started cooking 75 pounds of dry rock in a brute trash can with a Bubble Magus WP2000 pump and a 150 watt Aqueon Pro heater. I just added some AquaVitro Seed (bought from @purereef today) and a couple cubes of frozen food as a food source for the bacteria. I'm hoping to skip or lessen some of that ugly faze later. Once the tank is setup and stabilized next year, I will be shutting down my two nanos and moving everything into the new tank; hoping this will help speed things up.

This is exciting! March will be here before you know it... This year is just flying by! But...wont you miss your nanos???

Yes and no. I'm going to miss the location of them as they are in my home office where I am frequently. At the same time, it's the hottest room in the house, right above the garage. The new tank will be in the kitchen downstairs, with a tile floor for easy clean up of spills and much closer proximity to the RODI water; no more dragging 5 gallon buckets upstairs. Also looking forward to more water volume for greater stability and more room for coral and bigger livestock. I want a couple appropriately sized show fish... thinking a yellow eye kole tang and one spot fox face. I love coral beauty's and flame angels as well, but understand they may nip at coral. Definitely a few wrasse.

Sounds like it is going to fix alot of issues you have...especially hauling buckets of water! And the plans! I am very excited to see it all come together!
