What goes into your though process as far as aquascaping goes. Everyone input is appreciate. The reason I ask is because Im downgrading my 46 gallon:sad: bc I leave for the navy soon, BLEED BLUE! LOL But Im gettin a 12 gallon nano cube JBJ deluxe Im going to set up for my little brother. Adding Rocks and sand from my pre-exiting tank. Should I add new salt water or the pre exiting salt water from my 46 gallon. Im thinkin around 15 lbs of live rock should be sufficent for a tank that size. It will allow me to arrange corals nicely and put a few cool looking fish in there,

So what aquascaping suggestions do you have for a tank this small??

Any pics of 12 or 10 gallon tanks out there with ideas?

Thanks all,

really the only thing you can do with a tank that small is a rock pile. just not a lot of room. With that said, you want to have as many flat shelves as you can get so you have spots for coral. Also just make sure you leave some room in back for water flow.

12 gallons is small, but im going to have fun with it

throw in a frogspawn and sum other nice colorful corals

No, they are really nice... Size does not matter! ;) Just hard to flow design and aquascape!

yea, im gettin the 12 gallon JBJ deluxe, going to replace the pump with a maxijet 1200, if that will fit...
