Are these flatworms? I have never seen them before tonight but they are all over my frogspawn. I don't see them on any of my other corals. How concerned should I be? Would a lugol's dip be in order or something else?

They came out while I was feeding. They actually looked pretty cool when I first saw them move but then concern set in.

Do I need flatworm exit or will lugol's do the trick?

here is you cure

I'd dip what you can, but I've never used lugol's. FW exit is also a good dip but can treat the tank if necessary.

What would you dip with?

Read that too. Thinking about upgrading down the road and hoping a six line is in my future.

They are pretty impossible to see on sps. I can spot red bugs a mile away but the only thing I ever see of these are the bite marks. Those are pretty obvious once you know what they look like.
I don't know if AEFW also eat lps. I've got some of the same lps as your pic. I'll have to go check since I just found AEFW in my tank.
I use revive and don't dip for more than 4 mins or so. They usually fall off around the 2 min mark.

People also use pig dewormer and I even found some that used bayer insecticide and had good success with little to no coral stress.

I like revive as it also kills red bugs. I tried coral RX but it didn't hurt red bugs. Just be careful, if you do 10 mins the acro may rtn.

Coral Dip should make them jump ship, but chances are your tank is already infested and will take several treatments to completely eradicate. Start with a normal dip of the softies that are infected and repeat as needed. I vacuum them out off the glass too before any treatment of the tank.

<---- this guy just recieved 104grams of pig dewormer in the mail today. I will never have any worms in one of my tanks again.

I've used Panacur (Fenbendazole) too. Which chem did you get? I need something for the colonial hydroids in the pipes.

Pig Dewormer, would have never thought of that one...

Did a 10 min Lugol's dip with tank water. I don't believe they are all out of this coral but tons started crawling out around the 4 min mark. Picked some off with tweezers and a bunch fell off after turning upside down and shaking the coral.

Edit: That's what I love/hate about this hobby. One minute you're quickly feeding the fish to sit down to dinner and the next minute you're ridding a coral of flatworms.

Most wrasse will do the trick but I would stay away from the six line. They turn evil. Trust me I know from first hand experience.

Thanks for the advice. Once I get to that point I'll be asking plenty of questions and doing plenty of research.

I dipped my Hammer also. I only saw one exit the hammer so it's not as infested or they're just not letting loose.
